For the 4th of July, we went to a Hawks baseball game...they are the minor league team here in Boise. We were starving before the game, so we stopped for dinner on the side of Chinden Blvd. Dave's friend had told him about a man who had a little trailer where he sold BBQ ribs. We stopped and ordered a full slab of spare ribs. They had been cooking all day long and were so tender, juicy and full of flavor. What the place lacked in ambiance (we ate at a card table), it made up for in goodness. We were stuffed full and had no room for any baseball game treats. A spectacular fireworks show followed the game finishing off our Independence Day.
