Johnson Reunion 2012: Day 3

Get ready...Saturday was an action packed day full of lots of pictures! We started with a picnic at the park (you know it takes a million times longer to get us all out the door...)

Then we hit the park playing...

...sliding...

...swinging...
 {look at that chubs!}
 {I think she likes it}

{I had to stick one in of me even though I'm boring and taking a picture}

...monkey bars...

{all the grandkidlets...(thanks Heather for holding Tess up)...do any of those smiles looked forced? I think they were tuckered out from playing so hard}

{I just needed to show a close up of these two for two reasons: 1) I think Caitlin is going to teach Tess EVERYTHING she knows 2) check out the rolls and chubbies on Tess's legs...my favorite!}

After getting all that energy out playing at the park, we crossed the street to the Dairy Keen for ice cream. Grandpa was treating us. Yummy! We are spoiled. The Dairy Keen is the place to be in Heber...not only because their ice cream is delish, but they have model trains all over. And sure enough, it was crowded! But the kiddos waiting very patiently for their treats. And the ice cream didn't disappoint!

And as you can see...everyone was really into their ice cream. Thanks Grandpa!

 {big smiles from the kidlets...we love you Grandpa!}

 {the twins are obsessed with trains}

Walking back to the car...

{I love this pic...looks like Tess is trying to hold Caitlin's hand}

  Next, was a stop at the Heber Creeper train depot. We had thought about taking the Heber Creeper for a ride, but practical Dave Ruesch talked us out of it from his experience working there during high school. He said it would be 3 hours of torture! So we opted to just go to the depot and see the train...maybe another time we will ride it. The kids still loved it! We got there just in time to see the train leave the depot.

 {they still got spark after all these years!}
{inside the gift shop}

 {all the grandkidlets}

After our "train outing", we went back to the house and the kids had fun with some mad action parachute. I love their faces in some of these action shots as they were running.
 {can you find the ball in the trees?}

 {playing with the beach ball with Daddy}
{two cuties}

We took a breather from all of our playing and ate dinner. Brandon arrived from the airport. Yay! We were finally complete! And with that, we had ourselves a rousing Minute to Win It game. It was so much fun. Beth and Shae did a great job putting it together. It was hilarious to watch all of the adults and so cute to see the "littles" compete with each other. Everyone participated and were great sports!
{catch the cookie}

 {cotton balls on the nose and knock over the bottles}

{bolts on a spaghetti noodle}

 {blow the cup off}

 {I think the Daves just wanted to play with panty hose on this one}

 {stack the pasta on the spaghetti noodle}

 {the "littles" concentrating...}

{puzzles and stack the dice}

Whew! Sorry for the picture overload, but I had to include them all because it was such a fun day!
